I am a Research Fellow in Modelling of Additive Manufacture at Cranfield University. My role in NEWAM encompasses the development of efficient models to predict thermal and mechanical behaviours of the wire-based AM processes.

I obtained my M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (in 2014) in Welding Engineering and submitted my PhD thesis in the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, in 2021. My PhD research work was intended to evaluate the through-thickness in-plane biaxial residual stress fields in thick butt-welded joints. I have worked as an Assistant Professor for three years after pursuing my master's degree.

In my free time, I enjoy watching music videos, playing guitar and going to the gym.
